Information for shippers

For shipping the pen, UN38.3 since Jan 1st, 2020, demands that everyone along the shipment chain must be informed about the results of LiPo battery compliance testing. The required document can be found here:

Certificate of Conformity

Since the pen is marketed as ErgoPen and EduPen, the Certificate of Conformity names this product which is identical to the Development Kit pen. Please download the CE Certificate of Conformity here:

Reporting and notification obligations according to §18 ElektroG / Article 2 Act Waste Framework Directive

We use take-e-way GmbH as our representative in all WEEE matters. Please see here (Informationspflichten gemäß §18 Abs. 2 Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz) for details about information according to §18 Abs. 2 of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act.

The European Union’s WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment requires that the WEEE symbol must be placed on the Digipen. The product is registered in Germany as 31959237.
